Hi,

I got the update done couple of days back. However, it refused to connect. Can anyone help to point out the issue. I am using iPhone 11 with iOS 13.2. I heard there are some issues with iOS 13 and CarPlay. Has anyone faced this ?

I had no issues connecting with my iPhone XS on 13.2 couple of days back.

I am using CarPlay on iOS 12.4.3 using lightning cable.

Some check points:

1) Please check if you can see "MAHINDRA" in "MY CAR" from Settings>General>CarPlay.

2) First time connection asked for enabling for Siri suggestions ( and pretty much gave no option to opt out). So might be worth a shot to enable that, connect and then disable Siri launch in case you are not keen to use it.

No luck for me yet. I visited the ASS and they flashed the infotainment systems. It go connected for once and not able to connect it post that.

Could you post the snap of the version of the infotainment. The main S/W version as well as map version. Additionally help me if there are any separate setting which i may be missing.

Checked these settings. Its looks fine.

Please check if the mode selected in Head Unit settings under CarPlay is in CarPlay mode. Maybe it has been defaulted to "USB mode".

This is pretty much the only setting that matters for CarPlay or Android Auto. I will take a picture of the software version and get back here when I get a chance.

Since my last post, I have taken 2 more trips with CarPlay and it has worked flawlessly (one time the head unit restarted after I plugged in my phone and chose CarPlay while the vehicle was in motion)

I have the latest iOS 15.0.2 on my iPhone 5SE and have two issues using the Car Play in W11(O)

1. Sporadically the green Car Play button fails to respond in Home screen��. Or sometimes the green button doesn't get activated at all��.
Many times the thing works well��.

2. The phone charges fast and tends to heat up ��. Had to get the phone battery replaced recently due to bulging as a result of heating. The heating issue still persists despite the battery battery��replacement.

Getting the car serviced, let's see if the Uppal Mahindra at Hyderabad is able to resolve it.

The erratic behaviour of Car Play seems to have been corrected.
A system update was done to upgrade the system software from Ver 16 to Ver 18

So far it's working better than before.

Will update after more use.
