This reminds me of that Italian guy in The Gumball Rally. He said something like "the man behind me is not important".

Guys I have built a few subwoofers. In a an average car the compact sub options are:

a) Apreiodic: requires experimentation and tuning by ear
b) Isobarik-Sealed: Requires 2 woofers and twice the amp
c) Free Air: Can be Boomy and often is One Note Bass.

Choose your poison.

Disclaimer:
The Innova is not an average car.

Does having a box under the seat restrict the movement of the seat? ie moving it front or back?

Not in this install. But results will vary depending on car, sub and installer.

One of the greatest decision of the year.

But honestly, didn't you figure this out while buying that tube?

well werfish..

I did the same with my old sub setup..had to remove it everytime i had to load luggage..thats why i went in for a new setup..[unfortunately do not have pics..] which is fairly good.

Ofcourse..free to air is good in case your indica does not have a rear wiper..else they are also ineffective..

Well i guess the protrusion of the wiper mechanism on the inner side of the rear windsheild wont give us much room for ...say a 12" sub on the rear pacel tray...
