Focals for a beginner? No mention of Infinty (speakers) , JBL (amps or speakers), Kenwood (HUs), Pioneer (amps), etc... or are these not available where you shop?

There are many other brands missing but in India I find Pioneer, JBL and Sony have the best distribution. I mean i know guys in Shillong and Bhubanshwar who have JBL and Sony (along with Pioneer).

These options are more indicative of specifications at different levels rather than brands. Anyway, found it in an another forum with link below. Found it interesting as most suggestions for upgrade advise to skip installing rear speakers altogether or using them as rear-fill only.
What's the best system I can get for XXXX dollars? Uptd 15/4 - Ozhonda
