Hi mate. I think a search should help you. I think there aren't many 2 din options with motorised screen. Also budget of 21k mgiht be a bit low. The sony page shows prices above 50k. What is the purpose you are looking for the screen? Is if for viewing movies etc, then you should go for a good quality screen. If its just for (scrolling music files on a DVD), then a DVD player with a dash monitor will do. There are many budget models for dash monitors costing around 7k. In that case, you may go for single din JVC dvd player. might cost around 10k. go for a screen worth 7k and basic speaker setup. the prices i have put are approximates and might vary from city to city.

You want an LCD display? Most LCD displays (unless bakclit) are poor to read in sunlight. If you are loking for a motorised screen I believe the cheapest decent screen might be from JVC.

There is no way he can get a double din HU with motorised screen for under 21K even without including the speakers. his entire budget is 21k. My suggestion would be to

1. get a DVD HU for 10-12k, a overhead foldable 9 inch LCD for 7k & rear ovals for 4k.

2. Get a MP3 cum VCD player for 6.5K, 9 inch LCD for 7 K, rear ovals for 5 K & front speakers for 2k.

Iam buying this from Advaith Hyundai, residency road.

You might have looked at other aspects also while buying Santro other than your hight. So, be confident on your decision and know that you are buying a very popular car in India. There are many satisfied owners of this car including me.
If you are getting car security system from the dealer as in offer, check out and insure it has some "security" feature in it. Otherwise it would be a Xenos basic 'keyless entry'. Better to have vibration sensor, engine cutoff etc. now-a-days.
Please ask them not fit reverse horn (atleast those disturbing loud noise ones)
Also the speakers they give in offer would be of substandard quality (mostly made in Bangalore - look-a-like pioneer - blue cone).

Thanks dude for the info.
Ya i know that the speakers they give will be of low quality, that is the reason i have decided to buy them separately and thats why i have asked about it here!
And are there any other accessories that are useful?

Dashboard Mounted LCD

Given the budget and the primary inability of mounting a Double Din in a Santro I guess the best way around is to go in for a 5.5" or so Dash Mounted LCD Monitor which retails approximately at around 4k. This

Dashboard Mounted LCD

Given the Budget In my opinion a 5.5" or so Dash board mounted LCD monitor seems the ideal solution. These normally retail for around 4k. Have been using this for more than a year or so in my Santro and find them to be less distractive then looking down on a display. The viewing level seems perfect for the passengers also. Oh and I look at it only to move between the myriads of mp3 folders that go into each DVD that my HU takes.

Ooops Mods and others sorry about the double post which happened to be an accident... Hope am not flamed for this.
