 That's odd, and now I am confused.
Where does one measure the speaker dia, known as the "nominal" size? Let me measure it again. The opening can accomodate max. ~165mm frame (outer dia).
I had measured 130mm, and all dealers - as well as the showroom guys - said it is 5.25" / 130mm. There can be a difference in model years - mine is 2007 - but this variation is really confusing.
There is no manufacturer's insignia - and the part no does not appear in any search. Though it sounds OK, I would like something better - resolution is bad even in the compos.

Bass&Trouble - Since you seem to know the speaker sizes for a safari well, what speakers do you suggest? Mine is a 2004 model. I need speakers on all 4 doors.
Budget for 4 speakers - 7K max. I have a Pioneer 4950 HU.
Give me a while, let me try and post the chassis drawing.
So If one is changing to components in front, then what size to put in?
5.25" or 6.5" (with a spacer ring?)
