And Pendrives are nowdays quite cheap, You get one for nothing more than 700 rs.
Above all 7950 is better looking than 6950.
I hope you also get good speakers with them.

My 6950IB is working great and Im sure the 7950 wont disappoint.
Pen drives are cheap but it might come as a shock that I dont own any.

hmm....ok...here is the complete detail for the new series HU....

the 7950 is direct USB but the 6950 is not.....so here are the accessories we need to connect the hu with ipod or usb devices....

for connecting ipod to 7950 one would reqire this....CD-IU50 because the 7950 has a usb input....

for connecting ipod to 6950 one would require this...CD-I200

for connecting usb device to 6950 one would require this....CD-UB100

for connecting usb device to 7950 one would require a simple usb extension lead with male and female socket at the respective ends..(shown in the above pic beside the usb adapter) ....avalable at any computer hardware store....

for connecting the Ipod to older models one would require this....CD-IB100II

the cost of both the cables in india is Rs 990 MRP and the USB adapter CD-UB100 is for Rs 4990 MRP.....and the ipod adapter CD-IB100II is for Rs 6500 MRP

I was trying to connect IPOD using USB port. I was connecting it using original apple Ipod Lead. On screen something like "n/a" was coming when I checked manual it is written it means this model is not supported by this unit. I will again try today to see if it works.

In manual it is mentioned:-
"This unit controls Ipod Nano or 5th generation ipod or later."

My Nano is latest one.

Will post pictures soon.

I think you would require this cable to connect the Ipod to the HU...

that is CD-IU50 you can go to the pioneer showroom to try it before purchasing......

Lbm this is the same cable I am talking about. though I dont have the pioneer one. I got one with IPOD itself. But I guess both of them function in the same way.

I got this HU for 10K Without B&W
