i too was in the same dilemma between the two but went in for the 6950, as its not motorised, the decors guy told me that lately there have been a lot of problems with the motorised panel and was a failure, due to these few defective pieces encountered, so finally went ahead and got myself a 6950, was actually into cost cutting and had thought of the 5050 but i really hated the non matrix display after using 6850 in my viva!, i am very satisfied now!

EDIT:this HU is for my new swift DDis, and this HU is a flip open type!, got it for 8300 grey!
