JL Audio 3 Ways in a Swift.

This Swift was built few months ago, the Speakers are JL Audio XR Series 3 Way Component Speakers. The door pad is custom fiberglass and the entire doorpad was built from scratch, it's not the original which has been cut to acomodate the design. The White Portion is Acrylic and has neons mounted in the background, looks neat at night, sorry pics were taken in the day time.
Need I tell you about the sound quality ??
And Of course was built by you know who.............. ANWAR !

Nice looking install and great work as usual by Anwar. I have some issues with the placement of the drivers though.

Let me guess.. tweeter is too low and the midrange is firing into your thighs? Would it be better to have them stacked vertically?

Looks very nice. Adds a little bit of flair, but definitely not a stealthy install.

Yep, it's not perfect, in fact slightly more into the looks types.

The install on KB's car door was better placed than this one.

And everything is running on a masterpiece of a head unit.

I also feel the drivers are placed a bit oddly. The midrange should have been closer to the tweeter. Maybe there are some space issues in the door.

Is that Midbass an 8" driver?

The install is very neat and looking good. Can any member highlight as to how does JL compares with JBL or infinity?

I just saw the setup on a proper computer monitor now (posted from my phone earlier). That fiberglass work is simply great. The entire door pad looks like it was made that way at the factory. Does Anwar do the FG work himself or does he have others who do it for him?

And which HU is that? It looked like one of those ancient Pios to me first. Are those speakers running off a JL amp too?

Yup Hydra, all the FG work is done at Anwar's place by his guys. He doesn't outsource it.
