guys just for a update. The mech guy says that it is due to heat !!!!. He did put some spray inside the hu... but still the problem is still going on... i nearly wait for about 5 hrs got the hu to rest and then i take out the cd. Now im gonna do some tests on it. Before i used to leave the cd inside never used to take it out. Will do some tests and see what i can get...

Any other suggestiosn would be helpful.

My month old 6950 is already skipping on speed breakers & bad roads.

What makes it even more wierd is that it started happening first on a brand new music CD I purchased couple of days back.

The skipping is nearly absent on my older MP3 disc though I noticed it happening once in a while on this too.

Can skipping take place so soon...that too on a Pioneer considering that my brothers year old Sony has only recently started skipping.

Also, the authorized Pioneer service center is on the Somajiguda-Raj Bhavan road, right opposite Skoda Showroom (Mahavir Auto).

Send it in for servicing. Did you get Bill and Warranty?

I have faced the skipping problem in my Pioneer HU one of the budget models..with a white backlight and black letter..I guess the cd lens require cleaning..but it is more evident when playing audio CDs and not MP3s..

Experts..any suggestions why this happens..?
