They dont take much space at all JK. Hardly 15% of the floor space in the boot. Will get you a pic soon.

And no, no damping done at all. Why? Doors didnt really need it. Boot was fine too.

Dude, do you have any ICE currently in your Accent?
Coz if this setup was simple I am quite game at purchasing some second hand ICE stuff from you.
:p

I quite agree.
Alpine and Hertz are sweet.
There is a certain sweetness to the sound which is undeniable.

I second Zak. Alpine + Audison + Hertz is one killer combi. I've experienced another killer-sounding car with this same combi [the owner had better own-up here :)] and about 6-7 other cars now with an Alpine + Hertz combi. They are just made for each other!

agree:

How true! Most installs get screwed due to family reasons. :P

That is so true. I'd add to it and say "Minimum equipment, Minimum space and Maximum sound". Having one killer amp has really made it a superb looking install. I so want to listen to that setup!

I totally agree. I remember about 5 years ago, the tray containing the sub and the speakers in my Maruti 800 disappeared one evening since my dad's golf kit did not fit in!

gunbir 10th May 2007 08:50

Hi

Here are the boot pics with the sub enclosure...

Enjoy!

ramie2400 10th May 2007 12:20

hey gunbir bro awsome and the major thing not taking too much of the boot space, where can i get this woofer in mumbai and which budget amp can drive this one??

Ricky_63 10th May 2007 18:25

Gunbir,

One question, why have 2 smaller subs instead of one bigger sub ? Just the size ? I think there is/was space for a 15"........maybe wrong but curious none the less.:p

Cheers

hydrashok 10th May 2007 18:35

@ricky_63, the smaller subs will give faster & tighter bass. Two 10" is approx = one 15" sub as far as cone-area (and loudness) is concerned. A 15" sub would not be fast enough and would tend to go deeper.

hi hydra,

is it really true that 15" subs are not fast? dont they have a motor according to the size of the cone? please clear my doubts.:)

cheers
