Thanks. It is indeed very nice... one of our favorite recent installs. Minimum fuss, very neat, very simple, clean, musical and loud.

I'm looking for something to drive two front component speakers and a single sub (a single 4 channel amp or 2 separate amps, a 2 channel and a monoblock). This is in a Civic. Dont care much for the rear fill. What are the options within the Audison range and what would be the (approximate) damages?

Yes its the new LRx series. Yes, they are come with the high level input provision. As do the SRx series. A 4ch will work just fine for you. Here are some options from the SRx and LRx series. There are more options from the VRx range in case you are looking at spending around 1 lakh plus for an amp ;)

SRx4 - Rs 23900 - 2x 60w@4ohms + 1x 190w@4ohms
SRx3 - Rs 30900 - 2x 65w@4ohms + 1x 340w@2ohms
LRx4.5 - Rs 41400 - 2x 75w@4ohms + 1x 260w@2ohms
LRx4.1K - Rs 59700 - 2x 130w@4ohms + 1x 800w@2ohms

Cheers!

Thanks gunbir. That was quick, exact and to the point. Now I can present my final plan to the vehicle's owner (who drives the car a lot less than I do). I shall let you know if I get the green light since I believe you guys are the best dealers around for this equipment.

Final question: Would the SRx3's 340W output at 2ohms be sufficient to drive a 12" Image Dynamics sub? Or would it be more prudent to stick to a 10"?

You will be fine with 340w on an iD12v3 (Rs 8800) or an iDQ12v2 (Rs 11800)...

Autophile 29th May 2007 09:16

LBM, all the other good amps you are recommending happens to be STEGs.

Out of the list which one are you recommending. What is the price?

Bass&Trouble 29th May 2007 11:26

LBM, can you post some specs of this model please?

moralfibre 29th May 2007 11:33

B&T, is this the 2.01 model? You have any 0.01 model including the '1' to be the model with non-polar black cap?

Whats the price?

low_bass_makker 29th May 2007 11:42

the above was a limited one piece edition and it goes in to the designer of the amp without the caps....

gunbir 29th May 2007 11:45

Well here are some new Audison models... If you want any specs, figures, or numbers feel free to PM me... or ask LBM, he seems to know these things... :p

low_bass_makker 29th May 2007 12:17

I dont know much about audison amps except which are on there website.....but if you wanna know the specs of the above two model outside the car you have to arrange to have them here so that I can give you the complete specs...

hydrashok 29th May 2007 12:18

B&T & Gunbir, I'll take 'em all! I guess my battery will need support from a Cap or two to run all 3 at the same time. I hope you guys can confirm that all 3 are stereo and not mono...

Moderators,

Please note. The Senior BHPian's seem to be getting away with a lot of double entendre.
