It sure is. And you were also on plans to rename yourself Bose&Trouble.

Consider this. The chap who owns the car wears an A. Lange & Sohne perpetual calendar on his wrist. Now, before you say it, I will quickly agree that Rolex is the best watch brand out there. But how can I make him understand that he should get himself a few dozen bejewelled Rollies rather than that? Its difficult. Some people are just plain stubborn.
Next time, I'll try.

Great components! 180k 2 channels!! And if the cabin was a stealth install, a bit more could have been done in the boot. But then, how do you hide a monster amp like that. Beep. Three monsters. And not to mention the sub. Anwar's work in that CRV or that JL install in 'the-anonymous-owner' Dicor had packed the amps quite nicely. But getting to play with 7L for ICE itself is nirvana.

And did you really miss the amp that's been laid out there? Just kidding.

Would love to hear this setup some day, but Ideally the true value of this kind of an amp can only be determined over the course of time.

To most sharp ears even a 60k amp might sound like the 180k amp in a few moments demo, but the true sound quality can only be judged over peaceful silent drives with nothing but the music from ears to mind !

Would love to hear those amps play someday.

For those who are counting those amps are 1.8L per pc. that means 5.4L was spent on amps alone. Total system cost was about 7.5L. Something tells me the system will cost a bit more when "finished".

hi hydra,

can the independent gains be used to TA? what i think is the gains are for the levels and for TA you need delay or something like that. correct me if im wrong.:-)

Hmm nice setup. As you rightly said, the setup would do well with an HU upgrade. would love to hear this setup next time I'm there.

Nope. you're not wrong.

Independent left & right channel gains help us avoid having to set the L-R balance & the F-R fading at the HU end. The balance and fading can be set perfectly (to our taste) at the amp end itself, so the sound focuses where you want it to (more-or-less, without being finicky about path-length diffs and what-not): Usually the driver's seat.

I'm not a fan of setting Time Alignment with a HU/Processor. Working with the gains of the amps and using our ears is the best way, IMHO

Nice install Ajay. I have never heard a setup which costs as much as this one. Would really like to hear it the next time I am in Bombay.

Cheers.

You finally did it B&T. This puts many a travail to shame.. and in what style !!

Hearing something like this would be one of those experiences of a lifetime. But like Raven has pointed out, it would take a long standing relationship to develop and appreciate the true beauty of sound and music.

Great stuff!!

7.5 lacs for an ICE setup...!!! Don't have any words for it...

Some folks just want the best things... whatever it costs!

Congrats on the Setup!!! Without even listening to it, it just sounds Superb!

Personally, too much spent.. I personally can never justify this expensive a thing for how much good it may sound... OMG types...! just my personal opinion.
