Clarion is not bad at all. I dont find them very available though. In fact some of their higher models have been recieved good reviews on other sites.

The CDE-9846E is 9K with bill & warranty. The 9843 & 9846, both have 1 pair of pre-amp outs. Have no personal experience with either models, though.

The '43 is nicer than the '46.

Sound and looks should be good

i am not looking for usb or ipod compatible.... 4v output should be good if i get in that.. any suggestion

What speakers are you planning at rear if not keeping the stock ones ? From what I know 6X9s can not be accomodated in that slot.

Good choice of amp. At a 12-15K budget for the amp, look no further

I'd again suggest the Alpine 9843 for the HU. The 9856 is better, but will be about 18K with B&W. iPod connectivity can be achieved with the Alpine Cable later if you need it. USB is a no no. But then you're not concerned with USB right?

A very humble and nice thing to say. No question is stupid. Well, almost. We're all friends here and all happy to help you.

HU: 15K why not the Sony SACD HU that Gunbir talked about a few weeks ago.

The Gurus almost all use Pio (esp the P80RS) . I use an Alpine but that is becuase (apart from being used to their sweet sound) I am very familiar with the controls since I have used Alpine for 23+ years.

The Pio 7950, Sony MEX-DV2000, or Alpine 9847/9812R/9883 wold be what you can expect to look at under 15K.

The JBL 75.4 is a good amp for 13K. It is not the best amp out there. JBL itself make many amps that are better so do others.

28K for the 545! I think Infinty should bring in the 5350a for that price. I was looking around today and the market for a good cheap 5-6 ch. amp is empty save the Audisson LRx5.
