Hi Folks

Here's another Honda CR-V Install. This one is the old gen CR-V and a great car for ICE'ing. Enjoy...

The car already had some ICE stuff from an earlier install. The customer wanted an upgrade so most of the earlier stuff was removed.
Earlier install was nasty... For some reason installers in Delhi plonk the crossover inside the door cavity, where it gets wet and fails. In this case, one of the crossovers must have blown and the installer promptly replaced the Infinity crossover with a Blaupunkt crossover.

New stuff going in...

They are running in mono... no such issues...

Like always - Nice work Gunbir ji.

Just a small aesthetic input - the same tan colored carpeting on the SW box would have looked better. Or maybe its just the photograph that is making it look so contrasting & out of place.

Was the technique of using smaller Subs in discreet enclosure (like in your earlier CRV) not possible on this version or were there some other constraints? I'm sure you must have suggested that? :)

Is the amp in the wheel well ? If so, 2 questions regarding this

1. Wouldn't the amp overheat without any ventilation ?
2. Doesn't the owner need the spare wheel ?

Yes, thats the wheel well.

No it doesn't overheat cuz the amp has inbuilt forced cooling system.

The old gen Indian CR-V has the spare wheel on the 5th (boot) door. Thats why I called it a great car for ICE'ing.

hi,

i really liked the earlier installers idea of removing the insulation of the white wire so it gives extra bass when it comes in contact with the metal.

check out the reference crossover with designer screws made from a very rare metal. lol

kidding paaji.

nice install as always gunman.

cheers

Hi Manveet, we await delivery of some specially ordered tan carpet thats an exact match for the interiors of such cars. The stuff thats available in the market is of a lighter variety and doesn't really match up to our dealers standards. So the black trim is temporary.

As for the subs, well the customer wanted a removable enclosure...

Nice install, Gunbir. As always :)

Are those ES250s or HX250s? ES250s, I guess?

The New LRx6.9 is flying off the shelves????

Hi Hydra, yes those are the ES250 subs, oops I think I forgot to mention it in the post. In case you're wondering, the customer didn't want to spend big bucks on the sub section, instead he spend them on the front stage.

And YES!!! the LRx 6.9 is a hit! As it is everywhere else in the world.

@esteem_lover: The LRx6.9 costs Rs 56400
