abhi, in tour dash where the Ac knobs are the lower right light (behind the dash) is fused. You might want to replace that bulb. ok I am nitpicking but what else can I say. Fantastic.

P.S. My wife drives a Corsa Sail if she sees your car I am doomed.

should i replace that bulb to a dimmer one so that it doesn't distract?

I need to source a DC-DC PSU, but until then, it is running off a 150W 110V AC inverter (Xantrex)
The Xantrex is hooked to a Tank circuit (Diode Isoltaor based) connected to a small gel type sealed battery ....
So I can let the setup run even when the engine is off without any risk of draining the main battery..and the battery powering the comp gets charged when the car is running

OT, Is that your son in your avatar?

Works as a music player (with over 6K songs on the HDD currently )
as a DVD/DivX player
as a GPS
Setting it up to integrate it with my cellphone over bluetooth
Runs games

Oh well, it's a PC, it can do anything that a PC can do

[quote]nice neat job abhi! do elaborate on the details and costs involved![quote]
The total cost so far is just a tad above 30K
All the gory details are here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/diy-do...ff-ground.html

No no. what i meant is behind where the 3 knobs of the AC controls are there are 6 bulbs to illuminate the legend of the AC. The lower right legend is not visible and hence I believe the bulb behind that legend is fused. It happened to my wife car eventually I replaced all 6 bulbs with new bulbs (or were there 8 bulbs?).

^^ Hehe, I had never even noticed that and you spotted it in a picture

On a side note, I was wondering whether to mould /mount the LCD in dash but after a couple of trial runs by just ghetto fixing the LCD in the dash, I realized that having it there would mean taking my eyes off the road and downwards
while on dash, it is exactly at eye level so I just need to steal a sideways glance to look at the GPS or to change the music
