I was not happy with the performance of front speakers and went to replace them. What happened:

Amplifier: Panasonic 1000W
Front Speaker: Alpine Type-S SPS171A Component Speaker System
Rear Speaker: Alpine Coaxial (Existing)
Happy with the performance... But a hole in my pocket.. :(

Even though this thread is an old one..didnt want to start a new one since i am seeking related informations

I was looking for an ICE for my Getz 1.3 GLS under 10 K. Tried assembling components using the info in this thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/ask-gu...k-25k-30k.html
But dint have a lot of success

Went hunting around and one of shops in TVM ( Motor Plaza) had a pioneer package for exactly 10 K
Here is the configuration
- Pioneer DEH 2990 MP ( DEH 3990MP comes for Rs 500 extra)
- Pioneer TS A932 Rear speakers
- pioneer tsg1011 front speakers( a search for this in google returned a few - sites, all of them in NZ !!!)
- basstube subwoofer
- there was an amp too, but forgot to note down the specs
- Tweeters also included( not sure what this meant, but it was advertised)

Is this really a steal? or just an assembly of mediocre components ? because from the threads that i read i was not expecting to have an amp and subwoofer included under Rs 10K

Unfortunately they did not have a system for display, so could not judge the sound quality myself

Maybe guys in TVM can help me out here(who have either installed or seen this somewhere).. the shop is one of the biggest here in TVM and i think it has a good reputation

motor plaza ?

10 k with an amp + sub? Which one if so?

just change the frnt speaker to a 5'25" or 6' co-ax. Rest looks ok.

Motor plaza is in sreekaryam...its a big shop..its hard not to notice it if you have travelled that way

Its a Pioneer package...amp and sub is also from pioneer; forgot to note down the model number...will try to enquire abt the speakers that you mentioned...
