7950UB is USB compatible and 7950BT is bluetooth. I think somebodystopme is talking about BT.

Hmm if i change my unit to a 6950 , can i still use the ipod chord to control mp3 players other than a ipod ???

6950ib is ipod compatible .Rs1000/- for the cable i think.

@nikunj - The reset button is on the face plate itself. Look at the lower RH corner. If in doubt, refer your manual.

Yeah thanks i found it , I did a reset but the problem still persists, anyway the problem is more of a contact error thing than software/firmware.

Yeah , but I am having second thoughts of changing it , even if i do I will replace it with another 7950 maybe this one is faulty

7950 is BT enabled, but you need to buy an adapter for it to work.

Just wanted people's view. Is clarion better than pioneer. Is this a good deal

Nope i was talking about USB (7950UB). I connect my phone to it using mini usb lead.

And the other one is 8950BT i guess it has BT but not USB. Best option for anyone wanting both is to either Install BT device to Pioneer7950UB or Install Usb device to Pioneer8950BT.

And i would like to First use this Clarion thingy and then comment on it. I would stick to USB model in pioneer dude.
