and no way will he get infinity for the same price as JBL. JBL's prices are more in lne with Hertz Energy (not Hi Energy), Blau Thc and the Illusion basic series (forget the name).
the JBL 75.4 costs 12K or there abouts. for 7K the Blau GT4 Sepcial or the 6200 is about all he can get. The Sony 554 is not in the same league (though it is cheaper).

Hi guys,
Had a query on the ICE I'm setting up in my Lancer, so thought I'd use this thread.
This is my proposed setup (more or less finalized) :
Head unit - Pioneer 7950UB
Front Components - JBL GTO607C
Rear 3-way Coaxials - Pioneer TS-6960E (already had these, so reusing)
Subwoofer - JBL GT4-12 in a sealed box
Amplifier - JBL GTO75.4
Connection wires
Damping

Need some help with the wiring. Should I purchase an amp installation kit or get the wires separately?
If Amp Kit:
Are JBL install kits still around? The guy I'm getting this fitted from has a JBL kit which says "Made in Mexico". Read a post by Sam somewhere where he said that they don't make these kits any more. Could this be a fake?
What other options do I have, and at what price?

Else
What are the recommended components of wiring, and what are their approx prices?

Thanks!

PS: Pardon the if..else syntax. That's the software engineer in me talking

Sheesh. Ask him to serve it with Tortilla sauce and salma hayek.

Jesus christ. Mexican JBL wires. What will they make next?

Lol... I actually suggested Tequila and Salma Hayek to him, but hey... to each his own

So I gather that the JBL kit is as original as George Bush's speeches. What other options do I have?

There are many options, like Ichibahn, Tsunami, Scosche and Connexion Audison. All are good.

Prices... anyone?
To give u an idea of what I am looking for, Audison is over my budget.

How is this kit? Will this work with the 75.4 amp? And is it available in India?

I have not seen a lot of Scosche in INdia. But why bother when any good ISI mark cable (polycab finolex etc..) will do.

Scosche is distributed in India, origin Bangalore. I couldn't agree more, I believe that RCA's are critical, but given the right gauge of power cable, polycab finolex etc are fine.

Dude, I said old. She's a different vintage altogether. However I'm quite fond of her sister Jackie's vocabulary.
