so ms.collins & ms.hayek aside, what you're saying is go for desi RCA cables like polycab and finolex, and buy the other components separately?
coz from what i know about hooking up an amp, these are the things i'll need:
1. RCA audio signal cable (HU -> amp)
2. Power cable (battery -> amp)
3. Fuse (for power cable)
4. Earthing cable (amp -> chasis)
5. Remote power-on cable (HU -> amp)

I haven't inspected the amp box properly yet, so dunno if they supply any of the above.
Regarding the others, are there any brands or standards that i should opt for?
And what about the connecting leads?

no no no finolex does not make RCA. We are saying get goor RCAs from say Monster, Audisson, etc.. and use Finolex or Polycab for the power/remote/earth wires.

After hours of browsing and comparing and reading reviews, I ended up purchasing this:
http://www.cardomain.com/item/STISWK8RS

Cost me $50 with shipping (could have saved $7 more had I opted for normal shipping, but was in a hurry!). A friend will bring this across when he returns from the US.
Given that this has a list price of over $100 in the US, I would imagine I saved a decent sum of money with this purchase.
U guys think this was a good buy?

What other options do I have, and at what price?
If your guy is the same guy I spoke to, he should also have the original JBL wiring for 3K. For the fakes he had quoted 1.2K.

Hmm... will take it offline with u. Not sure who you think my guy is
But he didn't have the originals. In fact I doubt that they are at all available, since JBL don't sell them anymore according to Sam.
