vc 172 are 2 way component speakers not 3 way ..1 midbass + Tweeter

3 way components is GZ 2165t 2 mid bass + 1 tweeter

equaliser is present in both

the best value for money HU is 5090 with B&w for 7000/- may be less now

I hope tht your AMP is orignal and not a desi rip off.
Besides that get components infront-JBL/Blau/Illusion/Hertz.-5-7k
Get Rear oval speakers-JBL/Illusion-4k
Put the sub in a calculated sealed box if not already.
Make sure Good quality RCA has been used, if not change.
HU-Pio/Kenwood-6k upward, with three pre outs.

It would certainly be better to change the rears as the stock speakers aren't any good, but the final take is yours.

The Amp is not original. Its a desi rip off.

It has V12 Written on red base with silver or else with any other color. Its not original alpine.

You can check from alpine website

HU question for new Verna

Keeping the earlier Verna in mind (the one that never came pre-fitted with an MP3 player), I had decided on the Kenwood 6539U; however, the new Verna already comes equipped with a 2 DIN MP3 Player.
A few Qs:
1. Is it possible to connect an iPod to it?
2. Can this pre-fitted MP3 player be taken out and a new HU be fitted without any problems?
3. Is it necessary to get only a 2 DIN HU?

1. yes its possible to connect the iPod to it but you will not get a good sound as only front speakers would work.
2. yes it can be perfectly done . I got mine changed to a pioneer 6050.
3. a 2din would be a better option but you can go for a single din also then you will have to use a plate to cover up the remaining area.

and I would advise you to change the HU if you want a good output.

How does the iPod connect to the stock HU - via USB or AUX?
Is the new Verna also fitted with Kenwood as the stock HU? It just says '2 DIN MP3 player' on the Verna site; am just curious if it has provisions for USB/AUX, like the stock HU in the old Verna.

BTW, why do just the front speakers work after connecting the iPod?

actually i don't know much about it. I just got the aux wire out .But the system has a male female kind of connection port. I don't know if you are able to understand that.
and the HU in new Verna is also that of Kenwood only without a USB port but it is indeed better than the previous HU in terms of sound output quality

I know that the stock HU in the new Verna is a Kenwood; however, is it the same model (DPX-MP4070) that used to be in the old Verna?

BTW, I never knew that the stock HU (old Verna) had a USB port!
