Amaron Ding dong.
Get a higher spec battery.
For example if your car has 55Ah, get a 65Ah one high capacity.
This will help longer ICE periods.
The 2 year + 2 year warranty is a bonus.

AFAIK, Optima is longer available, except for old stock.

I would never recommend buying an exide.

I can recommend to you the following batteries, go for any.

Amaron (ding dong)
Bosch Silver
Panasonic Varta
Leader
Prestolite

I can assure you, most of the other batteries are crap.

Battery For Non-automotive Application In Ncr?

Ok guys,

i have a very uselfull 2,50,000 candle power search light, i bought from germany, it was doing good service but battery went dead after 3-years of regular use.

yesterday i opened the thing, took the battery out, the spec says, 12v 2.6Ah/20HR it is about the size of a bike battery (a little smaller) & lead acid type.

I searched enitre west delhi dealers no one stocks it, can somebody guide me where to look for, any good brand will do, original battery sports a name "JOHNLITE", i am not sure what brand johnlite is.

Are you sure you didn't get a fake? Because the original is Ding Dong.

Amaron Pro 75Min/400A would be the best battery if you have heavy Ice setup in the car. (Amp's/Sub)

0-24 Months- Free replacement, 25- 48 Months - Pro -rated Compensation.

I have used two of these battery in my esteem and Baleno no problems till date.

Cheers

Actually we have had a some issues with Amaron Pro batteries. Have had better results with Bosch Silver. Optima is a gamble, either it will work or it wont. You don't want to spend that kind of money on a battery and end up with a lemon.

hi,

thanks sam, gunman and everyone here for the suggestions. my stock battery was din 60. exide freedom(freedom from self start, olny dhakka start) i tried the bosch silver but there are no dealers here for their battery division. i bought amaron pro same rating. ding dong(the original). there is a tremendous improvment in the strating. the starter motor is much quicker now. it cost me 5100/- dead battery was taken back for 700 = 4400/- i hope it lasts long, really long.

also how do you check if its the same rating? the amaron has a sticker witha long code(560 smthing) and cca rating-600(cold crank)

bolo tararara.

Go to Nehru place with the battery. Search for sealed Lead acid UPS batteries which are 12V and have similar size.
