This intex HU looks ok, but i wonder how it sounds though. It has all the features that should be available in a modern HU. USB,MMC, SD reader, Bluetooth & a MP3 CD player. Wonder why the bigger companies don't bring out such features.

they dont want the user to get every thing very fast like pioneer has no MP3 or vcd changer till date...what they have is normal Audio cd one.

@ low bass maker: how much do you think a card reader would cost? I dont think normal card readers would work, would they?

card reader will cost you from .3k to .5k max but will it work that we have to checkout.....If you try it do post it here....

Should work if your HU supports USB drives of any kind. Come to think of it, it would be a brilliant solution for you - instead of bothering about HU-with-card-reader, you can now use the same cards on PC, HU AND mobile for carrying / playing music.

This one does'nt support the Sony memory cards, but I guess you won't need that support.

EDIT: You could just put in some MP3 files into it and try on a USB-capable HU. If the adapter is not recognized as a valid drive on the HU, it will complain or not switch to that source

which of these will be below 10 grands come with USB,AUX and bluetooth? which will be out of reach? the money saved is going to be shelled on installing a sub and amp.

Below-10K Blaus have AUX-in (you could use the SD/MMC card based MP3 players) and are iPod ready but no BT or USB:
