yeah it sounds more like a whine..... this is very clearly audible when the volume on the HU is left at 0 and the engine is revved. i will check the power cable thingy.
also....the rear ovals are hardly audible....probably because it is running directly off the HU but still is there a way to make them more audible?

Your setup need tuning, so that the front and rear are balanced.

The gurus can suggest a better method, but here's a simple version:
1. Set your amp gain to mininum, and set Fader to 0
2. Bring up the HU volume till the rears sound nice
3. Increase the gain of the amp for the front till both sound kinda same level
4. Use the Fader in the HU to check if the levels sound OK when faded totally Rear or Front; if not adjust gain till you are able to fine tune that
5. Check if the levels are close when you play at low, medium or high volume on the HU

But, first check if the Fader is set to Front already; if so, set it to 0 and check if everything is OK before doing the above
