Excellent Job on the console Sheldon...All I could say is WOW!!!

I hope you were able to match the OBD converter to work with Indigo ECM.

Waiting to see more install snapshots especially the ECM readouts on the LCD.

Hey DV, thanks !

Btwn you've bumped this thread and that reminds me, i've gotta get around to taking some pics of the LCD working .

The Indigo is straight out compatible with an ELM323 based scantool though not all the parameters are supported. I'll post some OBD-II readout screenshots soon.

shldn, I hope you have seen a palio dashboard. Can you please suggest me a way to get a touchscreen installed at a convenient place in the dash. I am pretty sure that it cant be done in such a beautiful way like you have done which will put TATA to shame. Everytime I think about getting a carPC the question of where to put the touchscreen comes and spoils all my plans
I havent met a single palio owner who has installed an LCD screen in the car.

@rishibravo, thanks although the flattery wasn't required .
I've posted in your thread Adding an indash TFT TouchScreen in palio.
Maybe we'd get some more pointers from the other members also.

Hi,

I read this post twice but still have one question though...The USB port install is very nicely done...Does your system have compatibility with USB ports? If not, what are they put for what do they connect to...

Can a system having a from auxillary port for stereo jack, be made to work with USB port installed as in your case?

Since the touch screen is no nicely installed, how have you mounted the CPU, as your doing a CarPC setup.

Would appreciate if you can post some pics of the CPU setup.

Warm Regards,

Rahul K
