How to stop an MDF parcel tray from sagging

How to stop an MDF parcel tray from sagging-pxl_20220821_141602979.jpg

This is what I've been reduced to. No i don't think it will be effective long term. But i don't have any better ideas.

I'm on my 4th parcel tray and every one of them starts sagging after a year or so. This one is barely a year old.

Have tried mdf, different installers, all of them end up this way.

Any suggestions?

You can place couple of aluminum L or C channel at bottom - length wise and screw down from top. These are lightweight and stiff. Choose the aluminum thickness based on the MDF weight.
