Hi Gurus,
I have this EQ with me. I want to know where I can get the user manual for this...the power connectors were replaced, so I do not know which pin is for 12V, GND and REM. There are 6 pins totally. User manual is not available on the Alpine website. Can anyone help me? Has anyone used this EQ?

Guys, got this installed in my car. Its awesome..it has 11 band graphic equaliser, 8 user presets, 8 surround modes like hall/stadium/live etc, BBE (3 levels/ types) and 9 types of spectrum analysers...color display!

Do we REALLY need external EQs? I mean I used a 12 band EQ from a brand called Pyramid, result was not so encouraging and I always use to manually slide the buttons.

Well, I use DEF mode ON in my HU and I believe Alpine DSPs are better sounding than other brands like Pyramid (Ive never heard of it)

Apart from this, the other use of an equaliser is that it gives front, rear and sub pre outs (even if the HU has just 1 pre-out)

yes sir, am aware that alpines DSPs are better than Pyramid (local US brand, retailing for only $44) anyday and they give you an option of having pre outs, the idea is about the functionality, where everybody here (SQ orients) prefer to keep all the EQs to FLAT.
