He did not have the prices and was not willing to guess! Says a lot when it is supposed to be coming in 1-2 months and you cannot even indicate a price!

Anyway, prices for 576UB in Australia (upon conversion) is between 10k-13k. Why Australia? well that's what came up when i googled the clarion model. The 676UB costs 14-18K; and 776UB - 17k-22k.

@ScarySkulls - Sony has introduced the MEX BT 2500 for Rs. 10,990 (MRP). It doesn't have USB function, but the Bluetooth functions include Handsfree capability as well as wireless music streaming! That means you can listen to all the music stored in the mobile phone through bluetooth.
Reviews of this model are average, no great shakes. Sony has another model MEX BT 5000 which is supposedly better. I do not know whether they have introduced this model in India. So demo it before you buy.

576UB has not yet released but I have been quoted the price at around 17K range by the company. I am not betting on this price though.

Another model to watch out for will be FB276BT.

I can tell you for a fact (because I umm... know) that Clarion in India does not intend to grow on a retail level. This is a policy decision.
While you will be able to find Clarion with difficulty as a customer, their growth direction in India is based on OEM supply to auto manufacturers.

LOL.

Assuming I interpreted it correctly, the damping is Dynamat Extreme.
Dynamat XTREME

Prices appear to be little higher than what they should. Not sure on this, though.

Just 3k more than 75.4 for the 755.6 seems tempting.

Better post up a pic of the Kicker wiring kit that you saw.

And honestly speaking, If I had 7k for wiring, I'd be picking Connection Audison.

I'm 100% sure that both these prices are grey market. You would not be getting a tax paid bill with warranty.

While an official 75.4 is still possible (with some serious discounting lol) the 755.6 is not sold officially in India, so getting an official pc is out of the question.
I can assure you this is not with company warranty.

Haha. Exactly why I told you to post up about the amps here Tanvir. I got this hint that the retailer is giving grey maal (or worse, Fake!) and covering it up with a Fake Bill when you told me that the guy had offered you a Pioneer 7950 WITH B&W for 13.5k or something.

Frankly, I wont prefer going to such dealers. Who knows that they could be polishing off a fake china made Amp to you?
Yes, Very original looking fakes exist!

Check links for a little idea.

EDIT:- Same damn problem again. I can EASILY post non Tbhp links here. But when posted the same way, the Tbhp links are all messed up with 404 error. Dont know hy.

Can the Mod correct the links please? and dear Search master LBM tell me the correct way on this?

Prices in Aussie land are quie high as compared to other countries...so if buying from abroad try a quote from singapore/KL...or US....... where they are much cheaper....

I was also hunting for HU with usb and found Clarion DXZ575USB. I think for India they have released it as 576UB. It ranges between 150 - 180 USD. Thats pretty cheap when compared to prices in India even after including customs . But I dont know about its availability in India and am trying to find the same information from fellow t-bhpians.

thanks

Thanks for your help LBM.

Whenever I want to post a link, I copy it's URL from my address bar in browser window.
Then click the insert link icon in the replying area. Enter link and click on submit.

Seems to work perfectly for any non-Tbhp link. Where am I goofing up?

This is the punishment we get for getting installs done locally.

Only two options.
DIY your own system.

Get it installed at a very reputed shop in the nearest metro. Delhi in our cases.

Gill, another option for you will be to drive down to Ludhiana. I will ensure correct boxes and everything. (In case you dont want the boomy Bass Tube). But try for Delhi first.
