AKG read the whole thread today. Here is one thread of your interest.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/ask-gu...much-load.html

I had the similar type of question then when I just joined this forum rather it was my first thread. I even bought the wires also but the dip was not stopped as it will bound to happen. Anyways it was a different chapter all together.

Akg the problem you are facing is that the demand is more and supply is less. That is true you require more power but the car electricals cannot supply them. In this case I would suggest you to try to reduce the load. Try to listen to ICE with a little on a lower volume. Since your HU is running FLAT as I have seen, try reducing the gain from the Sub duty amp as it consumes lots of power.

Also check the voltage of the car with ice running at zero volume, Head light, AC etc switched on and check it at regular intervals you will get the idea which is the normal range which you have. normally it would be above 13.8 volts to 14.4 volts

Also the indica electricals are not so good. My friend had a indica in which his main car fuse used to blow up (not the amp one) quite often so I don't consider the TATA electricals to be a good one.

I agree with LBM sir. This is what I was trying to say the whole time in this thread. Lbm sir, with the ice off I get a steady voltage of around 14.1 volt from the alternator to the battery ( checked using dmm ) with the car accessories on ( AC/ headlight/ etc but not ICE ) I get around 13.8~13.9
With ICE under heavy bass notes it dips to around 12 sometimes but is mostly around 12.7 +
Also, the problem is that it drains the battery ever so slowly it is hard to tell. I know because I measure the voltage once every day. However, I have tested my home made charger for over 2 weeks now with satisfactory results. The only problem is the spikes caused due to voltage fluctuations and the timer is not done yet. Without the timer, I have to check the battery every 30 mins or so to prevent gassing. However, if I use it for one hour each day then no problems at all, but I cannot just leave it attached to the battery overnight.

If you want, I can build you one too to check it out. pm me in case you are interested. I can do it next month sometime or you can just take mine when you come to noida and I can build one for me later

Akg I am NO Sir here. Just a simple guy like you who is here to learn. I would rate myself as a student not a Sir. So please don't make me embarrass against the Gurus here.
