Confusing specs abt DD subs

Hi,

I was just going through the site of Digital Designs..and i came across their subwoofer ranges...Hardcore SPL brand it is , but the specs a little confusing.

This is about the 3500 series woofers..

It says that

RMS: 1200
Nominal Impedence : D .35 - 4.0 ohms
DC Resistance : D .36 - 3.6 ohms

Now i guess, i terms of amp rating we are generally concerened with the Nomibal Impdenece. Now this is the first time i saw that a subwoofer giving a range of impedences...Usually we see amps rated at 1,2 or 4ohms.

May be not new to you guys, but new to me that i am seeing subs offering range of impdences.

So comming to the point and correct me if i am wrong...the above impedence means the following points

1) Single DD 3515e sub (1200 rms) can be played with a single amp at
1200 x1 @ 1 ohms OR 1200 x1 @ 2 ohms OR 1200 x1 @ 4 ohms

i suspect the .35 and .36 are typos. DC resistance cannot be variable.

Checked the specs, it does not specify anywhere whether the sub is DVC or not, anyways, if this is a DVC sub, then it can be ideally run off a 1200 RMS @ 2 Ohms amp.
