Hi,

The following 2 configs work out to around the same price, which would be ideal?

HU - Pioneer 7950UB

Speakers - JBL GTO937 on all 4 doors
OR JBL CS2165C on front and JBL CS2165 on back.

Do the components really make much of a difference? What would be a better choice overall?

GTO937s are 6x9 speakers - so how do you fit them on all 4 doors?

Also post details such as which car you have, what music you listen to etc.

What car ?
What kind of sound do you prefer ?
What's your future plans of upgradation ?
If you can enlighten the Gurus on the above 3 you will get the right advice.

I meant GTO637, not 937 :)

Car is a Swift Zxi (interestingly unlike what the other people said here, the car was already available on the day of payment.. no waiting), I prefer good quality/definition sound rather than loud sound, it would rarely (if ever) be used with high volumes.

Sorry for the mistakes in topic title/post.. made it yesterday night when I was falling off to sleep :P

Anyway am going to go to the store now and check out the components myself and get the music system/speakers fixed :)

Cool, let us know what you ended up with.

It would be better to put components in the front and coaxils in the rear.

Have taken the Pioneer 7950UB with GTO607c front and GTO637 rear :)

This is a good set, you will be happy. later when you want to expand, get a 4ch amp and a subwoofer.

Enjoy!
