Blueraven's magic with the JBLyfied Baleno

This is was long pending. I drove down to Bangalore, caught up with Blueraven on Monday and got the following done:

1. Power wiring - changed from cr@ppy 220V wires that my installer had put () to Stinger 4 gauge.
2. Stinger distribution and fuse block.
3. Threw away those old Tsunami may-be-fake RCAs and got 3 new Stinger RCAs.
4. Got rid of those sad (plywood?) boards to get new MDFs for the 6X9s and an MDF board for the boot to mount the amplifiers on.
5. Damping - boot only, the doors don't look like they need damping as of now.

Raven was extremely helpful in getting me the best stuff. In fact, I was in a hurry to upgrade things, like changing to GT4-12 from my 1204B - but he patiently asked me to wait so that there would be considerable amount of difference in performance. He took personal interest and monitored the install process. His boys did a wonderful job - they were very careful with things and were using the tools aptly. He personally took time to tune up the system and did it to a T.

I couldn't figure out much when the install was completed yesterday, but when I listened to the setup at length today, it sounded amazing to me!

For anyone in and around Bangalore, don't think twice, go straight to blueraven! Thanks blueraven!

Here are the pictures:

The old power wires...

New Stinger 4 gauge wires....

Opened up everything....

Old RCAs thrown away....

This guy was very professional with his work, I liked the way he gave attention to detail....

Stinger fuse block.... sorry, the rains have dirtied up the car....

New MDF for the 6X9s...

Stinger Distribution block.....

Stinger RCAs.....

Looking good, Raghu! The boot looks real good now! Its a good thing you changed the wires. The improvement in sound will be subtle, but it will very much be there! I'm sure your sub must be sounding better now, with clean power going into the amp.

How about an LED tube/Neon tube in the boot to show off the stuff?

Is that a reversing-strobe on the MDF plank?

Great job, Blueraven! You're the man to see in Bangy now, huh?

hey nice one.. Mr.Blueraven do give us a buzz when such events of historical importance happen in Bangy.. looking at all this.. I guess mine would have been the cheapest setup Mr. Blue would have done.. and you are right when you say Blueraven takes a personal interest..

I was wondering where you saw 200A fuse till I saw the fuse block installed in the engine compartment. Nice eyesight.

Whats with it?
