Uber-Luxurious ICE in an Innova

Hello guys,

I had completely forgotten to post this. I was invited over to a dealers workshop last month to see an Innova install done in New Delhi.
While there were many bells and whistles, the sound system was Infinity Kappa and there also was a skilfully fitted harman/kardon Drive+Play.

I took a few photos with my crapberry and then recently received some professionally taken pics too. I'll just post them all here for your viewing pleasure.

Enjoy!

Solid finish, and very neat and the best Indian ICE install in terms of finish and workmanship.

What is the equipment going inside Sam Bhai ?

Woaaa thats one awesome Innova, wonder how it looks from the outside(Hint! Hint! Post some outside pics)

Its done by AGM, no doubt the finishing is immaculate. They have done even a Scorpio in similar style.

Here is a list of equipment
• Partition dividing passenger and driver compartment.
• Fixed glass in the partition with black tint.
• Intercom facility to speak to the driver.
• Two manually reclining Seats.
• Two concealed folding tables
• Under seat storage space
• Feeder vents from original A/C to enhance the cooling effect.
• Aircraft type interiors.
• Plush edged carpeting.
• 240 Volts power supply for laptops & other gadgets.
• Premium Nutmeg interiors with burl wood and chrome inserts.
• Glass and bottle holders.
• Audio and video console -
(JVC Dolby Digital and Pro logic II HU - with centre channel in phantom mode, Kappa components front and rear and LFE channel run with Kappa 12" woofer - run off a 75.4 and 301.1)
• Sound deadening panels.
• Rich Stanley Leather Upholstery (Touch Satin Series).
• Thermo-electrical Refrigerator.
• Reading lamps.
• Grab handles for easy ingress.
• Overhead Diffused lightning panel
• Wiring harness with independent fuse box to support the extra electricals
• Leather coatings on all plastic panels according to the upholstery.
• Coffee-maker.
• Air ionizers to refresh rear cabin.
• Fire fighting equipment below rear seat.
• PC/laptop compatibility - connect to LCD TV from seat for movie or presentations.
• Console to support large format LCD monitors/TV.
• iPOD connectivity.

The sub enclosure looks shallow but it is keyhole shaped (under the matting) so the volume is sufficient. The D+P is connected to a little pocket where you can plug in and leave your iPod, the screen with the track names is roof mounted. Nice.
The sound is clean and not very loud - bass is good and mids and highs are crisp. More than anything is the plush feel and the feel of those seats. Sit inside and you realise, you are ready to drive to Kanyakumari right away.

Pick up the cordless and say "Drive, chalo" in a fake accent and you are ready for the road. Garam chai, Thandi beer, apni pasand ka movie, all the legroom life could give you. Sit in this innova and really, you get the feeling of having arrived.

Yes the car is made by AGM in new delhi. I believe it is a showroom prop - to show off to the customer what can be done with an Innova.

Like I said - Uber-Luxurious.
