TracVision A7 Satellite TV Antenna dont think its possible (atleast in india havent heard), the usage of satellite is quite different for GPS and DTH

though some interesting options might be heading our way Watch Live Satellite TV on Computer or Mobile with HAVA or Slingbox | India Inc.

all thanks to google

You want to put up a satellite in your car?! :o
haaa haaaa haaaaa... I think you mean whether you can watch TV in car by catching satellite signal. Your thread topic will have to be rephrased. You really had me there for a while boss!

The answer is no. Forget TV, as yet even Satellite Radio (like Worldspace) is not available for cars in this country.

Dish tv has an option for this. In Tamilnadu, i have seen this implemented in private travels like KPN. So it is possible. But i hope we have to make a special order to DISH TV for this and they will import the equipment.

The part which these people (incl. DVD-HU manufacturers) forget to advertise is that this is meant only for passengers, or when your car is turned off. I have seen a couple of morons in Delhi driving around while watching a video. From one guy's zig-zagging I thought he was on a mobile phone, but when I pulled up to yell at him, to my horror he was watching some dvd! I was so stunned that I forgot to yell at him!
