Wierd Problem in system - "Interrupt"

Hi Guys,

Have been experiencing a wierd problem in my system since the past few days. System details below:

Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887
Front Speakers - Hertz ESk 165.2(6.5" Components)
Rear Speakers - Hertz ECX 165.2 (2 Way Co axials)
Subwoofer - Hertz ES 300(12") mounted on Rear Tray
Amplifier - Audison SRx5 (5 channel 60x4WRMS + 1x180WRMS)
RCA Cables - Audison - BT6600
Speaker Cable - Audison FL214BL
Amplifier Power Kit - Audison FPK 300

Whenever I cross or exceed Vol 20 on the HU after a few mins the sound goes of for a sec(interrupt shows up on the HU) and it resumes. This happens every 5-7 mins and it is annoying. I doubt it is the amp cutting off as in that case"interrupt" would not show up on the HU.

Any ideas on what could be the problem and solution to the same.

I'm no guru but have been looking at the downloaded 9887 manual as I've placed an order for this HU.
You may need to check the audio interrupt in lead (pink/ black). If you have your cell-phone connected to it, try disconnecting it and seeing if the problem is solved.
You may also need to check the ground lead (black). Is it connected to bare metal and securely fastened?
Hope this helps.
OT - Looking forward to seeing you in Kolkata.
