Hi koolguy. Please make your posts more readable by avoiding those dots and SMS lingos.

If you could post your budget and requirements (what you'd look for in your setup), it would be much easier to decipher things.

By the way, Blau makes one of the better HUs in the market and their A.S.S is kick-a$$. There is no reason to consider Sony to be better than Blau.

I will suggest Pioneer anyday over Sony, if you have to choose between the two.

For me Pioneer and Alpine have been equally reliable. Pio's are long lasting HU's unless you are sold a used HU. They are feature packed with better Radio reception as compared to Alpines. The Alpines are better in sound quality over the Pio's.

Yes JBL do have a headunit but for marine applications:

JBL MR4 Receiver

Blau is good. You dont have to buy the HU and speakers of the same brand.

I see more Pio in the repair shops than Alpine. but then Pio outsells Alpine 10:1 in India.

Pioneer Vs Alpine cost matters specially in India.

I guess all top end guys like JVC/Alpine/Pioneer etc., are reliable.
Sony had lots of lens going bad issues in entry level models. Even my mp3 player had that problem where it would read only good CDs.
Apart from that most pioneers I have used have been trouble free.
