MP3 player for a Sonata Gold

I recently purchased a Used Sonata Gold. It has a Cassette and CD player. It has a CD changer slot in the dicky without the actual changer. What are the options I have to listen to MP3 in my car ?

Putting in a new MP3 player will spoil the entire theme of the dashboard and its difficult to find something that fits exactly into the slot. Ipod with an FM transmitter seems to be one of the options.

can you find out what model of changer will work? one way is to first find out the model of the HU that is installed in the dash.

Even I have no idea what the stock HU is. Is there a brand name on the fascia?

If not - Can you have the HU removed and check the brand name and model number? (Probably written on the back or the top)

hey sam.. there isnt any brand name on the HU or on the cd changer.. just the hyundai logo..

a friend of mine picked up an tuscon's HU ( it plays mp3s) and put it in his elantra.. guess u could do something like that if u find a used tuscon's or innova v version's HU (guess the toyota name can be removed with a solvent)

Yeah, that's the easiest way out. The tucsons and the innovas player has an almost similar design. The inno has a 6cd chander too in it i guess. I saw one yesterday for some 6k here. Finding a tucson's player would be real hard!

I finally got a touch screen JVC panel fitted on my sonata. It plays everything and has a huge screen. It also fits perfectly in the panel.
