Hmm. You've obviously not done much reading in the ICE section.

Our resident crazy Sikh, low_bass_makker uses DLS Iridium 3 way components in his swift. He lives in Freedabad.

Yes! Some of us have heard and experienced DLS audio. Now it is marketed in India by Preeti Trading. As far as I know it's very high priced here.

Our own Appy fizz Sardar, Low_Baas_Makkaar! is the penultimate fan of DLS here. He has a set DLS ultimate iridiums in his poor Swift!

I'm confused Zak. If LBM the the penultimate fan of DLS here, who is the ultimate fan? You?

Ya I have the 3-way DLS in my swift. Very nice sounding set, some of the Iasca award winning cars used them. But as suggested Speedzak they are very over priced here in india. I myself got the pair from Singapore.

I would like to add here listening preferences differ from person to person. I like my DLS Iridium very much, they are sweet sounding speakers. But I like the Illusion Carbon series tweeter much better than the DLS. So it is a kinda of mix and match type of thing. For the Hertz I have listened to there energy series in few cars but I found it a little bright but the midbass was nice. So listen to before buying.

I can only say one thing. It's the install that makes a good set of speakers sound great. The DLS speakers in Lbm's car sound AMAZING and all the credit goes to the installation.

Comparing two brands is not the correct thing to do. Each brand is different and so are the products. Someone may find Hertz to be better, while some swear by sony and pioneer.

Spot on Sire!

Just the other day, I had a chance to listen to a friend's Nissan Maxima outfitted with Hertz's Mille range speakers which he had gotten imported from Italy.
Till date I'm unable to find a word to suitably describe the near-orgasmic experience . Hence, my earlier comment.

p.s.: The track being played was Heavyweight by my current favourite artist - Infected Mushroom .

What was the amplification, HU, Sub ? as the sound coming out is the complete package only the Front stage alone cannot do everything also any pics of the same would be wonderful maybe we here at Tbhp might learn from it. But end of the day not everyone can afford such High end stuff.

For someone who uses DLS this is a very honest and unbiased statement!

Yeah right!!! This sounds a bit strange coming from you .

Well, the HU was stock Maxima unit. There was a RF threesixty II processor installed. A couple of Alpine PDX stackables doing duty on the amplification front. To be honest, I didn't bother checking out the brand name of the sub. Because it really didn't feel as if there was a sub installed when infact there were 2 of them.

The processor did the blending of the sound range impeccably. Ofcourse, pics are warranted but I, right now, am in NW (Seattle) where it never stops raining and my buddy is in SE (Miami) where the sun never stops shining. Pics aplenty on my next trip there. paromice..
