Yes I did listen to this system in Dubai as well as here, and thats why I have decided to go in for it. You can contact the local FOCAL distributor in India. Preeti Corp I think. Or else ask someone to get it from USA or Singapore. Much cheaper, nearly 35% cheaper.

Hydra's is Energy series. I was talking about Hi-Energy(HSK 163)

Think you will haev to look at better amps if you are going for HSKs. It needs some serious power to get it really going.

Yep. Or you should get a good 4-ch and bridge it to 2-ch and drive the fronts only (with the rears running off the HU).

I think he mentioned 70 - 80k for the entire setup. One Genesis would take that budget up.

Actually Kiran, maybe not... Genesis has some interesting models, for example a Profile 4ch costs Rs 35000 only.

Err, cant he get a 2 channel then?

Navin mentioned JBL subwoofer for this SQ setup. Which one? I was just about to post on the Ask guru thread about the GT5-12 in a 1 cuft sealed box I tried today (fed 200w at 4ohms of Audison power). It was boomier than a 306C!! There wasnt any bassnotes. I will query the main thread, wont hijack this thread.

FB/Gunbir, the Profile amp you guys mentioned, are they the same as this ones Crutchfield? The AP series? They are very cheap compared to Blau or GTO. When FB recommends it, at this price range they are very tempting. Please mention some sample models.

I also see Jerrish getting Hertz and Audison with ID subs. If Hydra cannot pull that off, Zak will :-)
