Is it possible to put Pioneer 5650 system in wagonR with 4 speakers + woofer
if so, how much would be the total cost of pioneer 5650+4 speakers +woofer... in delhi...

Hey Buddy,

Got my WagonR yesterday... will soon upload some pics... wanted to check with you about your current car audio system .. I am gonna get car audio installed this weekend.... was wondering should I go for 4 speakers ... I seriously think that two should be enough ... though I would love to have four but I don't want box or something in back of my car ...

just wanted to check with you and people around what is good configuration for a wagonR

well u can use pio 5650 with 4 speakers without any worries..but using a sub with this config will pose probs as the HU has only two preouts..and more over one will need an amp to run the sub if not the other 4 speakers..i think the fronts are 4'' for a wagon r..and at the rear u might have to use 6x9's either in mdf tray or boxes..well a approx of ur budget could be helpful in giving suggestions..

I have a sony CDX-F7710S, with two sony speakers in the front and sony XS-V1630A speakers in box at the rear. Can I upgrade the same to include a sub and amp?
Also how much would fitting door speakers cost.

My budget is around 10K ... emphasis is on clarity of the sound.. I don't listen loud but the idea is to enjoy music...
Glad that people are out to help ... thanks mclaren1885

well the 7710 has 3 preouts so u should not have any probs ugrading to a amp and sub..would suggest u upgrade ur front speakers to components for the best..this will have to do with some modifications to ur front door if ur willing to..u have 6.5'' at the back..so those can be used as rear fillers..so go for components in the front and a good amp to drive the sub..

well if u want a simple and good sounding setup at 10k then u can go in for sony 5510 HU..very good HU at 6k i must add..u can also look at pioneer 5650 or 6750..then for the rears u can use pioneer 6990/1 as they will give out some good bass..and for the fronts there are always the 4'' from pioneer too..all should be around 12k or thereabouts..

Me thinks mclaren is right about the budgets. 6K for the HU, 3K for each pair of speakers. You wont get loud but it will be listenable. Instead of Sio or Sony, I would try some othert brands for the speakers though. Blaupunkt and JBL may just fit in your budget.

1. you can split the rear pre out and feed 4 channels of amplifer. then run 2 channels bridged toa subwoofer and the other 2 to teh rear speakers. alternately if your HU allows you to run the rear speaker out and rear RCA out at the same time you could use the HU's amp to run the fullrange speakers and use an external amp for the sub.

2. if you are getting an amp and a sub then avoid getting 6x9s for the rear. stick to 6" instead. the sub will take care of the bass.

yup i too would suggest him to look into different brands navin..but that will end up spending more..all the prices i quoted are without B&W,so it might come down too..

as far as JBL is concerned the 936's are priced at 4.7k and the 426's at 2.5k..that makes it nearly 7.2k and thereabouts..so only the speaker and HU will cost him 14k not considering costs for cables, antenna and fixing charges..

if ur willing to spend that much i would suggest u also take a look at hertz dieci DCX 100 ( 4'' coax) at 2.6k and DCX 690 for 4.7k..

need advice form the Gurus :)

Hi to all audio-gurus...

I'ma newbie & this is my first post.
I've a WagonR with the following setup:

*Sony HU 350S --------------------- 6.4k (without B&W)
*Pioneer 6991 6"x9" coaxials 460W
attached to the Hatch -------------- 3.5k (without B&W)
*Pioneer TS20 Tweeters
at the front (its hidden ) ---------- 1500 (without B&W)

Total : 12K (including fitting charges)

The system sounds ok with some good highs and lows. What I really miss are the speakers at the front. WagonR can take only 4" in the front and since I already have dedicated tweeters, can anyone suggest me a pair of speakers that I could add to complete the setup???

HELP Please !!!!

- Ric

but isnt Wagon R's boot supposed to be not friendly for speaker and generally audio. I have
2 Sony xplod speakers at the rear,
with a silicon amp
pioneer player
a JBL Sub woofer,
blaunpunkt tweeters at the front.

These are my second pair of speakers since the wierd boot space affects the sound output quality and damages speaker
I think we need to box the sub woofer and speakers

Any suggestions?
