My suggestion:

Go step by step according to me when you have tight budget. I have only done buying remote for JVC mp3 player so far in ICE department.

1. Change stock 4 speakers to either component Pioneer (my choice) or JBL speakers and leave tweetors as they are.

2. When budget permits buy DVD player (AVH or DVH 5950 Pioneer is my choice again) with 7inch or bigger screen. Innova needs extra speakers at the back because speakers from 4 doors not enough for 3rd row seat occupants. so I suggest set of speakers behind 3rd row.

3. If you still need better ICE then plan for amplifier. If you go step by step keep adding amplifier in future.

When I baught Innova, here is what I did:

1. Baught all accessories (side foot steps, rear bumper crash gaurd, sunfilm, pair of seat covers, Black stickers to make pillars black, remote for mp3 player), I use 2 din audio (jvc mp3 and toyota cassette/FM player) and toyota stock speakers.

visit http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/long-t...r-comfort.html for price details I paid in 2006 end.

2. Now I have K&N Airfilter, 90/100 phillips H4 Rally bulbs (budget: INR 5500/- + 300/-)

My next goals:

3. Wood finish interior(INR 3000/-), component 4 speakers(INR 10,000/-), DVD player with screen(INR 16000/-).

4. Tyre upgrade (MXV8 225/60 R 15) and Alloys ( INR 33000/-+ INR 21000/-).

These are few accessories Innova deserve.

Sorry forp few off topic lines here but I thought along with ICe these would help you.

Regards,

Ravi.

No idea about dimensions but its one sheet and good to do two doors, according to the dealer.

Thanks alot Ravi. I dont plan to put screens or dvd player in the car. My first priority is to put four compos in the front, which i will be doing asap. I 2 always prefer JBL, also i plan to change the stock HU to Pioneer 7950UB and then get damping done. Amp and all later since i have to get Petes box, which is much more important then ICE Baraf I hope the non engine vengine types dont take my case for this

About tyres, yes 225s are a must, doing it asap as it will give me good price for old tires.

Hiya Busa! (I get a feeling I've used this one before)

In addition to the advice over PMs, let me add a few more things here.

Try for a better price for the stock HU. But do get a new HU. Anything beats the Toyota stock HU. Unless you use something like the CleanSweep to clean out its output.

Just the 'closure' wont do. The stock head unit is not a perfect 2-DIN. Like s0uljah mentioned, you'll either need a proper dash kit for the Innova, or you'll need to have someone make you an inexpensive one from a 6mm board. And, on a budget, 2-DINs are just a waste of money. Single DIN HUs do far more than equally priced 2-DINs.

I suspect this must be the 4 sq. ft. Xtreme wedge pack at a discounted price. Thats Rs. 425 per sq. ft. Not cheap.

How much can i expect. I was told Rs. 3500 by the dealer. Any leads at where i can sell at a better price.

How much does a proper dash kit for the Innova cost.

About Damping ill be going for noise kill.

So this is what i have decided currently.

Pioneer 7950UB or 6050UB - 9k - 3.5k = 5.5k
JBL 607c Compos on four doors - 10k

Damping on Four Doors. How much using Noise Kill on four doors - Around 1000??
