Just spoke to Bharat Auto, it totally s**ks. I asked him a few queries and he was acting smart saying you come down you do this, give me exact model number and all. I am sure i dont want to deal with someone like Bharat who does not have courtsey to answer my queries on phone. Other dealers give all the qoutes via phone.

Just to get a qoute i dont think its worth going all the way to Worli.

I spoke to Boom audio. He is giving me Illusions for 6.1k, which is quite high, considering i am getting JBL GTO 607c for 4400 with B&W.

How good is Infinity Kappa comapred to illusions.

Which is better DLS or Illusions?

Ohh gosh you can't compare Illusions to entry level DLS pls. 6.1k is a nice price. If you take this further you can mebbe by M.A. components for Rs. 1500/- do you want quality or a good deal?

I agree. Actullay the 6.5k MRP is quite less for the quality they produce. They must be in the price range of 8-10k

Mf, i agree with youy Illusions are that bloody good. But i am on a budget and i am getting quite a few good deals from other brands. Anyways the DLS speakers i am talking about is not entry level. They retail for around Rs. 8000

I am getting DLS for 5800 from another dealer, sounds really good.

What is MA?

the only advantage it has - 1. it looks good in an innova. 2. it allows u a cassette + CD-MP3 etc. kenwood has a decent line up of 2 dins, u may want to see on their india site.

and busa, i can help you with the innova, if you haven't bought it already.

if u are going to settle for entry level speakers, then there's no point in upgrading innova V. they are alpine OE, and trust me, they do their job very well... just take yr CD and listen to them in the car at the dealers.

u'd be better off spending that budget in damping the doors.

the entire set is an alpine OE. however, i think it is probably a 12w RMS, and not 18w which u'd get outside, though they sound surprisingly good. the best way to upgrade is damp the doors and get a pre-amped base box - blau, infinity basslink II, kenwood, pio, soomoku etc... most of these accept speaker outs and can be easily placed and are meant to complete factory fit systems.

here are links for HUs.

kenwood
Kenwood Corporation | Car Electroics | 2DIN Receiers

availability will have to be checked though. and mind you, they will still leave a gap in the V model. scosche side fillers will be required, or u cld check if an E innova box can be a neat fit.

for the car, pl PM me yr number. i'll have someone from an authorised dealer i know speak to you.

no, you get pre-amped subs... they have an inbuilt 150w RMS amp... somebody's just posted links for blau and kenwood, u can check on their site... and check the market, even alpine and pioneer have, they can be placed below the seat. i can probably help you with soomoku, scosche, damping materials etc... if you are interested. but mind you, a pre-amp box is just to complete tonality... if you are looking for boom boom, you won't get that. and before we get to that, get yr car. :-)
