@stroke:
agree: In fact if you want to get really
low down and dirty, you will need to graduate to 12" and 15", the '
added (bass)
extension' will excite many and you will also enjoy the '
extended (bass/frequency)
response' that you get out from your I.C.E (E stands for.....:D )
Thanks to all.
First which car i have to choose alto or 800.
I am having both the cars.
The blaupunkt set-up is in Alto.
After that Talking about the budget i can spend 60 thousand but i dont want to feel the amount i have spend.
I want to enjoy the music when ever i listen my car.
I dont want to compare to any one and not to go with the price tag too.
Thanks
This is hilarious! lol: I think you people scared him off.
@stroke:
Pl come back and respond, else if it continues like this, I'm sure a few members would get banned for cracking jokes instead of welcoming a newbie.
60K is a good budget for the kind of setup you wish to have,
and alpine HU, with hertz or illusion components in the front and co axials at the back powered by a jbl or Blau amp. i don't think you'll need a woofer
i am sure the gurus will help you out now.
Since you are Chandigarh - you might want to consult clip, scrayskulls and Gill.

SO you have 2 cars. 800 and Alto.
The Alto has a HU and 6x9 in the rear.
The 800 I assume has nothing. right?
now you have 60K and want to ICE both cars. Right?
1. get 5" components for each car in the front door. The components will cost about
6K each and the door mods will be a bit more. When you find a good installer make sure you see some of is work (of a similar nature) before you proceed. The dor mods can get messy if poorly done.
total 16-20K
2. get a HU (Pio 5950 for 6K) and 6x9 (JBL, Illusion, Hertz, etc. for 4-5K) on a MDF plank for the 800.
Total 10K
3. get a good 4 ch. amp for each car. Pio 6300, Blau GT4, JBL GT5, Kenwood 8401 etc can all be fgot for 7-8K.
Total 15-16K
4. Get a pair of 12" subs (one for each car) in a sealed box. Budget 7K per sub.
Total 14K
20K+10K+16K=14K = 60K
Insist that the installer use good RCA cables (Audisson etc..but
NOT BOSS) to wire the HU to the amps. Use the amps to drive the front components and the sub and let the HU drive the rear 6x9s.
Dhoom macha-de, Dhoom!

I want to intall only one car which one should i get for this?????????
I will never intall pioneer in my cars.
get it done in the alto, better built quality i'll say, you can shift the alto's system to the 800.
for the HU, get an Alpine.
don't get your door modded if you can't find an experienced installer.
For the Sub, i'll recommend you go in for an IDQ this will be in your budget too.
You can get your Alto done up for about 45-50Max

1. if you only want to od one car the get teh alto done first.
2. 60K for one car with buy you better compoenets as well as some damping and even a nice monoblock for the sub
3. not all pioneer is bad. but if you do intend to avoid pioneer alpine makes some nice HUs and now that your busget is only for one car you an afford alpine. I'd look at the 9884, 85, 86 if you can afford them.

dude, if you are spending 60k in an alto or an 800, first and foremost you need to spend 25k on a security system.
then you will have 35k left for the sound system. in which you can get a good HU for 8-10k. a 75.4 for around 11k. a good pair of components for 9-10k. and a woofer - 5-6k.
tod taad ke liye 800 sahi rahegi. alto ke panels moulded hai. in the 800 in fact a front 3-way should be neat fit.
otherwise just get decent 4" comps/co-ax that are rated 55w... and amp them, with a sub behind. do this in both the cars. u'll get a good resale value, and 'ek se bhale do', ek left mein, ek right mein ;-)
it's nice to c u back. don't let anyone scare you. trust me, we are all good guys. even if you have a GF, you can entrust her to us, and she'll be safe!!
alright... may be not that. everything else. :-)

Can you give me the details for the 25K security system and do you feel that its necessary. And how many ppl have spend this amount on security for there cars systems. And want to see the security system installed cars if u can give me the details of cars r having the same.
Sir Waiting for Reply
For sound quality, few (if any?) can compare to Danish specialists
Dynaudio.
You will be very satisfied and happy with their range of products.

you may go through this thread posted by gunbir.
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/ask-gu...em-secure.html
i meant to bring to your notice that it ain't worthwhile spending 60 grand on an 800. if i was you, i'd do both the cars in that much. autocops would do the job 30%. discretion, which is the other 70% is much much more difficult. you could add mobile tracking devices etc. chor ki nazar mein nahin aana. aa gaye toh phir see that you've done enough to delay the thief's process... and disinterest him thus, so he leaves for another car where he won't find even a 15k system.
or you may fully secure and do up the alto. (now why the hell should i do 2 cars? ain't it wiser to do one well types)... may entail some door mods if you want to fit 6.5" components, LBM has done some... or use 4" components by hertz/illusion in stock dashboard, a couple of 6.5" co-axs for rear fills, a good head unit, amp, subwoofer... the works, the way what gunbir refers as 'stealth install'.
for the 800, you may rivet the components in the door. and take tweeters home with you after removing them from their pods and disconnecting the wire clips. par is sab ke liye bahut mehnat karni padegi. installer ko bhi tumhe bhi. aur bahut zyada practical nahi hai.
locations where we stay and the places we go with our cars makes a huge difference. so also if you have a full time driver and secured parking in your house, you needn't worry much. when security's going to be a problem in a place you wanna go, simply use the lesser 800.
see that the 800 has a basic system with a HU, 2 pairs of coaxs. with the rest, do up the alto really well... secured, amped, woofed n all.
cheers:
p.s. - aman the other day suggested me a brilliant idea. befriend the stray dogs where you stay so they know who you are. and leave them their food on the top of your car. nobody dare come to steal it. if you like dogs, this might work!!
