Just got the JVC AVX800 on my Civic last week. Sound quality is amazing and loads of options. Cannot comment on the others as I do not have first hand experience.

Not sure about it, but I heard 814 has far less options compared to 800. It seems 800 is discontinued and thats the reason the grey prices for 800 has shot up because it has all options needed.

Exactly, most of the installers are saying the same thing. The one which sold for 27K B/W is now 31K with B/W, and the stokcs are running out it seems.

I love the 800 so far, loads of options for tuning the sound !!

because sony car audio is horrid. they cannot be good at everything. plus its close to 10k more expensive than jvc with a smaller screen so why bother in the first place

Better enquire with the main dealer in Delhi what is the official prices of these models (814 / 815 / 816). The difference between grey and b&w seems too much, assuming the difference in features between these models might not be heaven and earth.

The JVC India site does not mention any dealers, but it is quite likely they are using the Onida distribution network. The service network (check the link here) is an Onida organization. Call the Delhi service center, they might be able to lead you to the main distributor.

In your situation, the warranty would definitely buy you peace of mind!
