ICEd my Palio Stile SLX. This is setup:

Alpine 9870E - Rs. 7700
JBL GT5 500C Components for the front - Rs. 4000
JBL GT5 963 for rear Rs. 3300
MDF Board - Rs 900

Vendor - AUTO SHOP, Banashankari.

Everything with B&W

Took my Canon Rebel XTi along to get snap of the ICE being installed, but forgot to take the battery. stupid:

The sound is great and I am loving it.

Just wondering on how did the installer connect 2 front speaker and 2 tweeters + 2 rear speakers to the 4 channel output.

Component speakers have crossovers, which distribute the input to the respective tweeter and mid-bass. So the remaining 2 channels are going to the rear channels.

I feel the sound quality is great. Specifically the ovals in the back make you feel you have a sub in the back. I am very happy and pleased with the install.

Do elaborate on the Head Unit settings,
the cross-over settings,
the placement of the tweeters,
the kind of music you listen to,
any other observations.

congratulations. im sure you are enjoying the music as you have very good equipment.

i have the same hu. i installed it in my fiesta a month back. excellent HU. you can install amps easily as it has a sub out plus hpf on the speaker outputs. the only thing i dont like is the buttons are quite stiff on the head unit.

please let us know about the ice. a short review would be great. and can you give a cost break up?
