Yes! That was the point and also for the "kick" he wanted.

As usual a Five star installation by Gunbir. You never fail to amaze us & the best part is it gets better with every install. Thanks a lot for sharing the pics

Gunbir bai ji,as the fronts are high passed, how is the midbass upfront. Can you plz share the crossover for HP,BP,LP.
I got the answer for question i asked earlier, passive cross over is spilting the HP freq to front midbass n tweeters.
But ain't the bass pulling sound stage lil bit to rear side!
Can i do same setup with 9887 in my setup?

Great install, Gunman! Nothing like a quartet of 8" midbasses for electronic music buffs.

Alpine H701 offers 4 preout vs 3 of 9887. In 3 Way network mode the front / high preout does not go below 1 Khz. However you can do similar setup in front - rear - sub by using HPF / LPF and Bandpass filters on the amplifiers.

The crossovers for MIVEC are as following :

Subs - 20Hz - 50Hz (2nd Order Subsonic & 4th Order Low Pass)
Woofers - 50Hz - 90Hz (2nd Order Highpass & 2nd Order Low Pass)
Front Stage - 90Hz - Till Wherever it extends (2nd Order Highpass)
