Going by the CNG cylinder in the boot, I would say Petrol! Unless he uses that to store extra diesel

Congrats!
Great effort on enclosure,though could have increased the width a bit!
The sub seems to be a real beast,such a huge variation in power handling after break-in period!
Reviews on the product,shall be appreciated as it's the first Hifonic install i have seen!

i once tried to get the MDF cut from professional aari wala(table saw?) he cut it wrong. it took me 2 days to correct everything and i ended up with a small enclosure. lol now i DIY.

well, its a sony 554.. nearly 2 yrs old..i will be changing it but not now, there are some pretty good amps by EFX.. or else there is blaupunkt..

my ride is a petrol, converted to CNG. though it runs on petrol most of the time..unless i go to delhi..

the comps are wired directly to the remote turn on of the HU.
the sub is wired to the remote turn on too, but i have put a switch in between.

for the MDf cutting, i made the aari wala keep 2 soot extra, and then used a randa for finishing.. it was a tough job, but it feels so goood....

the brutus sub is a beast provided the right power and enclosure, there is a guy running 2500RMS into two subs!

OT - the XXV series sub and amp are simply amazing!!!!!!

Congratulations, @ss, well done!

That sounds like a lot of elbow grease went in. The job I have always hated in carpentry is planing, and I am still waiting to buy an electric planer.

(For folks not used to Hindi measurements and terms: 1 soot = 1/8"; randa = planer; aari = saw; aari-wala = guy who operates the electric saw)

You said earlier that you have used nails

! Sacre bleu, sacrilege!!! Unlike screws, nails are likely loose grip in MDF over time.

Thank you sir, and thanks for the english terminology. i have used very few screws, mostly on the corners and for the port. but the nails are pretty thick and big ones, will post a sample

SS the nails will get lose. Delarte is correct. I would recommend to put screw when you get time as it will make the enclosure rock solid. Drill a hole first and then the counter then the job will be easily be done.

SS-> Stainless Steel

No need to get them use normal wooden screws which have a flat head and half taper thread.
