Achha, what to say about JBL GTO1204D X 3; it can be wired so as to present a 2.7 ohm load. Would it be good idea as the amp is stable upto 2 ohm? Would that mean injustice?

Also the amp in concern is

787 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms
and ≤ 1% THD + N

1114 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms,
14.4V supply and ≤ 1% THD + N

So it will be giving close to 1100 watts at 2.7 ohms since it is limited by the power supply. If the amp would have been power full enough it would have given 787 x 2 = 1574 but since it is power enough hence the same.

I heard the JBL 1204s are not SQ subs but purely yanky SPL subs.
