HU Question

Was planning to get a new HU. Budget is cheap 6K.
Asked 3 guys, all of them quoted :

Pioneer 5950 - 5K
Pioneer 2050 - 3.8K (said its new, 2990's been discontinued now??)
JVC KD-G635 - 4.6 - 4.8K
(got USB)

None of these guys willing to give me B&W, they arent stolen although, lot of guys getting HU's installed. But 'twas thinking are these legit?
Read somewhere the Pioneer 5950 HU is for around 8K? And a lot of fakes in the market too.

Advise.

these are grey market goods, they are legit and not stolen.
you might want to consider the 2008 pio range 4050,5050

what are you planning to run with this HU? what speakers? amp if any?

i think y should go for pioneer 4050 or 5050 which will cost u around 5500 to 6300/-
they provide 3 pre. RCA output with 4 valt.

i got a JVC HU(KD-G634) instead, dumped the pioneer.
failrly cheap 4.6K, good HU, sounds good.

Err blue2ki doesn't ur car have a blaupunkt mp46? Thats way better than all the stuff you are considering.

Sir Audio is very subjective. What you like other might not. Like you feel NAD is sad. So I think lots of people don't prefer blau due to it features less and costly price.

haha.. no bro.. cedias HU is stock. this went in the esteem, needed a cheap usb HU, so got this, and you know what it doesnt sound bad too.

Hehe the blau is the stock headunit that comes from factory in a cedia. Thats why I was wondering. Anyway the thread creator cleared it up.
