Infinity Rules !! (Ref1240se+1600a)

After speaking to Sam at the Vauhaan Yatra in Bangalore about my plans of picking up the Infinity Ref 1240 se subwoofer. I got his assurance that it was a great sub and he was using the same in his Verna. Picked up the sub and was running it with a 2 channel Audio System ADS 8002 amp which was a compromise due to lack of funds.
Later got my hands on a 2nd hand Blau Velocity 4 channel amp 4120 which was driving my sub and rear pio 2150 speakers. It was good but produced a high whining sound in the cabin even after grounding. Returned it and picked up (on Sam's reassurance) the Infinity 1600a monoblock which was my first choice but cost held me back. Now the set-up is just AWESOME and worth every penny spent !!
Using my 2 channel Audio System amp for my rear speakers and I have pio TS20 and 4" 2ways in front (due to space constraints under the dash of my Esteem) HU is a Pio 7950. So, for the moment Pio set-up in the cabin and Infinity combo in the boot.

I can certainly vouch for the Infinity amp and sub, really tight, clean bass. The two were made for each other

Next upgrade, when I eventually have to change my front and rear speakers. I will surely stick with Infinity (either Ref/Kappa) and I'm sure I won't be disappionted. But will unfortunately have to cut out the front door pockets to fit it with door panel mods.

Thanks guys,

@ LBM - I never knew the beauty of low bass till I heard this sub, now I'm hooked on it. And the importance of a good amp match was a trial and error to get the best effect till I saved enough for my 1600a.
Pick the songs I listen to according to the bass in them

Low bass totally rulez !!

My Pio TS20 tweeters and sub give the right balance for that awesome effect of tzzzt, tzzzt (donno how else to spell it....he he he) and thump, thump when I drive by turning a lotta heads.
