I would suggest to get a pair of pioneer 307 d4 rather than 3001. It will sound nice and loud.

Because he wants only SPL, not SQL. If he said SQL then there are other options. Why spend more if you get good SPL in budget.

i'm using one at the moment and i am happy with results for the price i paid.

actually dad will be visiting Dubai in feb. LBM' ji you can suggest me better in this regard.
get a good sub from dubai or just buy another 307 from local market and amplify my rockford's too.

There is a vast range of sub available in the market. First of all what do you want in your car. SPL or SQL. What is your budget. Do you plan to get new amps ? Which HU do you have ? Which Speaker do you use ? Are the Amplified if yes which amp ?

Thank you.

Carry in the amp from abroad.
Sub might get too bulky to carry in.

Sidhu, take my advice. Dont buy the Sub from overseas. Better get it here. Will be too much bulky for Dad to carry back.

You should concentrate on only getting the Amp and Wiring.

And regarding comparison of ES380 and IDQ15, there is absolutely NO difference for your tastes and expectations/requirements.
The ES380 is cheaper though and you will like it equally enough.

And please do go and check out Grewal's JBL 15" too. If you like that one then that'll be even cheaper for you.

Take your pic but please buy the sub atleast with warranty. Always pays to do so.

What if Sub conks out? It can happen to anyone. And happened most recently too, in case of my friend. Thank God warranty was there to save his backside.

I always buy my speakers with warranty.
Have had a few warranty claims in past. Even my In Ear Canal headphones.
